My first earthquake!

So last night around midnight I was sitting on my bed (texting) and I heard this noise, I assumed it was my dog chasing my cat in the other room and somehow they managed to get into the closet... I started to get annoyed and yell for them when I noticed my wardrobe next to me shaking (demons?) but then I rememerd hearing we had an earthquake early that morning.  I was freaked ( and by this time, my dog jumped on the bed for saftey I assume) I quickly ttried to get dressed and get out of the house, and answering my phone at the same time! My poor cha-weenie was shakin up and wouldnt get off the bed, I felt the house was fine but went outside to answer the phone ( resp is crappy in the house). It was an earthquake! I never felt one and as the days are leading up to Cali, my husband and I talked about if we felt one there. Well, guess im prepared!

My husband was not home with at this point, A few mins before I sent him out for some movies and he was in Family Video as the movies rocked off their shelves. Insane? Id flip but he remained calm. Him, being a CaliBoy! I guess the other customers were freaked, well duh? lol

So what do you think? Is it over? Are we done with the tremors * makes me think of that movie!* or is these back to back earthquakes just a foreshock for something alot stronger.  This last one was only 3.5 feet into the ground-shallow. and from my own research, the closer to the surface the worse it is. yikes!
