Windy City Dogs

One of my newest and current addictions is Sonics Chicago Dogs. I dont eat them often but love knowing they are still around. A few months ago I asked a sonic car hop how much longer they will have them. She said they were just waiting for supplies to run out but I see they have extended it by the new advertising! This love may last awhile!

One of the most popular ways to serve and eat a hot dog, as well as my personal favorite, is Chicago-style, which commonly includes, but is not necessarily limited to, relish, onion, tomato, celery salt, a pickle wedge, a couple of peppers and mustard. Looking at that list of condiments and understanding that I love every succulent topping I just listed, it is easy to understand why I’m so fond of the Windy City’s hot dog.

JUST SAYING!

7 years ago we drove to the Windy City to visit my cousin and when we got back, we decided to have a Chicago-style hot dog gathering to share our adventure with family. The neon green relish was a hit! I can't remember if we got the dogs from Classic 50's or Sonic (they used to be right next to each other) but the manager gave us a case of 30 plus all the fixins. Very cool and very yummy indeed!
