Manager Material, California Bound and Gema! Update on my life.

I havent blogged in awhile because of this whole new layout they have going on doesnt agree with my phone. But here I am, trying!
Work- I learned how to count tills (relearned!) and the safe, got rid of the bluew crew uniforms to my white shirt and tie... Manager Material. & No more working the presenting window unless its really busy and a mess. Still waiting on the raise.. Gema- New puppy. I went to pick up David from work. I seen this puppy in the review mirror. Thought I may of hit her. Nope. So headed to the store & came back, their she was still in the street. Pulled car over & opened the door & she jumped on my lap. Cant find and owner & we love her. 4 dogs & a cat.sn: cant wait to fence off part of the yard and get all the dogs, safe in one spot and let the smalls be outside when its nice, unattended. CALI-FOR-NIA! We are headed to see Jaz! Next up: trying to find cheap hotels, and afford to eat & play. We are so excited to see her & im extra excited to travel, esp since ive never been west.

Who actually remembers those old marketing campaigns?
Today, Im one step closer to a shift manager at McDs. I got my spiffy name tag with manager on it & my book to do for training.
BOOK 1: 42 pages of Orentation
#2: 42pages of basic people skills
#3: 127 pages of area management
# 4: 118 pages of shift management.
Its supposed to take me 6 weeks to do all of this but, Ive been here before. So I know alot of it still.
Then onto the BSM classes & servsafe (online now!) then I will be certified (on the game of life this would be a green pay day square). I plan on spending the next 2-4 months after becomming an assistant mgr then focus on my school, vacas, and house remodeling & Fix ups. Thinking about skipping our late honeymoon next year and going on a trip with my neice & my step daughter (shes already dropped this idea of a fam vaca to us for next summer) We get to talk to her tomorrow. We are making plans for her great Uncle Leonard who lives in CA too to talk with her and see her. Life is good.

Can I have fries with that shake? Or wait, a frappe...or smoothie?

I have worked my first two days at Mc Ds and well its all comming back to me. I have people helping me or around if I need help but for the most part I am on my own. So far just window & counter register. I kinda surprize myself. I mean, Mc Donalds has changed ALOT in the last 6 years. New computer systems, alot more new food... even a shake has a cherry on top. Upscale yea? I have to do this "crew refresher" then I begin my manager training... yay (a pay raise!).

I have alot I want to blog about. I just havent found the time to sit at the lib. But when I do ill give you alot more reading material.
