Our New House

Its so nice to have all my clothes in one room. Have both dressers & the beloved wardrobe in our bedroom and still have plenty of room. To buy for the bedroom: cozy chair to put by window that will be looking out to the future serenity garden, better looking hamper, small flat screen tv, new bedding, bed frame and curtains.
Our second bedroom is the current home of storage/davids office/wii room.
Kitchen: needs remodeld from ceailing to floor.
Dining room: cat & dog food bowls, small shelf for my teas & drink mixes.
Living room is good. Would like to rip up all caprt & put in wood floors ( i dislike carpet). New Tv and more deco but that will come in time.

Weekend plans: Saturday off (yay!) Women of Worship conference & then home to unpack some more. I havent even attempted to do our yard. Lots on the to do list out there! Sunday (not sure if I work yet) Church and who knows! Unpack and clean Im sure :) Be Blessed!

Lazy Days Are Here Again.

This week has seemed to go by to slow. Maybe I had to much fun over my bday weekend? Or that Im looking forward to my last day at Parkland Manor? A little of both im sure! Im going to miss the residents but the petty drama & negative vibes are not going to be missed. As well the low pay & no insurance!
Today is day 3/3 of the SWCLD 89th event. Ive enjoyed representing my church but im ready to be at home & do nothing. Granted there is plenty to do, Im choosing to not do most of it. A few loads of laundry & a quick pick up of the house and thats it for the weekend. Im looking forward to the fam comming up, making rootbeer floats and just hanging out. After the house is clear... Davids going to the church to work on his sermon. I can hear it now: Nothingness. House alone?!?! P.R.I.C.E.L.E.S.S

::The weekend review::

Friday- out of work was a great feeling. Went to Shawnee to go grocery shopping at firelake. We did a great job at making out $ stretch. We had plans on making it an 80s date night but time slipped away and we made some really yummy nachos.
Saturday- slept in.ate cocoa krispies and went back to bed (ive been praying for a day like that!). Most of the day was trying not to sweat to much -the air conditioner broke... MISERY! Picked up some "forgot those" from walmart for breakfast we cooked at church.
Sunday- Church breakfast was yummy! Church was great. David made me pretty much cry during testimony. He has a great wife & he knows it, although his words were aloooot sweeter. I fall in love in love with him everday. I am blessed thats for sure!
Besides our kitten getting stuck in a tree (twice) the weekend was pretty much laid back. Which was great and much needed.
Today (july 4th) work then home to rest & relax then back to Prague for the fireworks. Our first fourth of July. I hope we always find "first".

::Jazz N More::

What a wonderful weekend it was (after 3pm on Friday). David & I arose semi early on Saturday, hit up a garage sale *$2 picnic basket total score!* and made our way to the city and did a bit of much needed shopping before going to see the fam in Norman. Its always filled with more memories than I could write & when I can... Ill post pics. We attended Jazz in June and it was alot of fun. I love spending time with all of them. Then back up early Sunday morning to head off the church. David preached Sunday and as always it was a great time & and a powerful message.
MONDAY----- So I was excited and equally nervous to go to the Drs today.It was going to be the first (of many im sure ) visits to start the family planning proccess. Welp- to bad my Dr doesnt work Mondays!!! So now ... July 12th is the new day. A couple more weeks of this excited/nervous feeling.

Isnt it a bit insane how many of us live for the weekend? I know this week I have! Twice I woke up wondering why my alarm was going off so early for a Saturday. I recently watched a program where they were talking about 50% of people hate their jobs. Wondering if that has something to do with the 50% divorce rate?!?
Usually my weekends are spent at home (lately avoiding the heat) playing with my dogs, spending time with the hubs and going over the sunday school lesson... this weekend is going to be very nice. We are trekking :) to Norman to spend sometime with the fam and go to Jazz in June. Its always such a wonderful time and its truely amazing to see how God puts His plan together. We will be back early Sunday because of church & David is preaching. I loooove those Sundays because I love seeing God use my husband in such away. Its just amazing. see ya back here Monday.
