This Am started by ending a two day streak of over nights on the job. I couldn't fall a sleep long ( even after the wonderful foot rub provided by my hubby). I ended up transplanting cherry tomato plants. I just basically put a pinch of seeds in each pop. Wow! Over load, I have about 40 and 75% have good color and thick roots. More in seed pots too! No one will be needed tomatoes this summer!
I packed up our picnic basket ( yay first use!) And around 11 am we headed out to follow the Crosleys to the lake. David and I have never been. It wasn't super hot and looked like it wanted to rain. But no moisture on radar.
We grilled hamburgers and snacked on dips and chips. Took small walks ( to the cleanest out door bathrooms ive ever seen!) Seen a 5 foot snake almost get picked by a crow. Obviously it didn't work out. It climbed a tree and went into camo mode but Andrews keen eye found it, we gawked. I was creeped out.
The kids and I dared each other to put our toes in the lake. Freezing and there werw people swimming!
After lunch we toured the other sides of the lake, the " beach", the lookout and the nature trail. There is a paved and an unpaved one. The paved one makes me really wish I had a beach cruiser style bike!
A beautiful day off of 3 in a row!!!
Cant wait to spend more time here.
Sn: i went into a coma when I got home.
