My bday weekend was a blast & much more then I expected.
Day Time: Drove to Norman & took a dip in the pool, ate watermelon and hug out with the kiddos and fam. Finally watched Avatar & took a small nap and watched the rest. It was a good movie. Wished I would of seen it in 3D at the movies!
Night time:
We started out at The Mont for these famous swirls I've heard so much about and a free bday tshirt. Somewhere between Swirl #1 and #3 we had this great idea while talking about being Irish to go to an Irish pub. We headed off to O'Connell's for some Irish fun. Also received another free tshirt and a free shot ( I should of gave that gift to someone else!). We then drifted to a place called Brothers. There I picked up another free tshirt, a pack of crayons and a yard of beer. Yes. I had help drinking quite a bit of it!

Somehow the next morning we all managed to get up for church. What an amazing service it was! It was so hard to keep the tears in my eyes the whole time. It was just a sweet feeling in there. I really like that church and I cant wait till the next time we can visit. Then off to meet the faces Ive seen on Nolitas pics & blog . Everyone was very friendly and the food was great. I was a bit envious, As we drove down the street I said what a beautiful house & it happened to be the house we went to! I -being a big fan of architecture- was like yesss I get to see the inside. I have spent many hours just staring at floor plans & pics on http://www.houseplans.com/ and it was just as nice as I could of imagined. After lunch we got ready to go and headed back home... Not before getting my birthday gift from my dad. He sends me money and I buy what I want or need. This year was most def a need haha

Well It was fun to experience the campus corner and act like a college kid once more( go Sooners!) but I really remember why I stopped drinking so much. Mornings are never the same and I cant imagine how I got through the early part of my 20s! I didnt drink nearly as much as me from a year or so ago would of and it still hit me like a ton of bricks. Good Bye (for good!) to that life & those days! SN: I will be back for a swirl ( limit 3) and some food. Good times!

Shawna, in the pic of you drinking that yard it looks like you are playing an instrument. ;.) Like in the Ricola commercials. (an alphorn I believe). We are also good with the partying like a college kid again. We tore one off for you that night, but we're good. Next time maybe a swirl or 2 and that cuban sandwich. Actually, a better cuban is at Penny Hill in Norman! See you guys soon!
